Worship Service Returns to 10:30 a.m.
On Sunday, September 13 our worship service returns the regular schedule. Sunday School classes are available for all ages at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship at 10:30 a.m.

Food Pantry Collection Days  
The Missions Committee has designated every third Sunday as a special donation day for the Arlington Food Pantry. 

With the rising cost of food, an increase in the number of clients, and decrease in donations, the Food Pantry is in serious need of food and cash donations.  Please bring an item for the Food Pantry any time, but especially remember the third Sunday of each month:

Sunday, October 18 and
Sunday November 15.
Our annual Thanksgiving In-Gathering of Food for donation will be Sunday, November 22.

The donation box is located in the hallway of the education building, outside the church office.

Announcements

• The sanctuary renovation is now complete!
• The organ refurbishment and update will be completed by the end of June (a long time coming!)  The organ will be "broken in" over the summer with lots of playing, and will be officially dedicated this fall.

The Free Throw Fundraiser and Fair held Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Gibbs Gym to benefit Nothing But Nets was a great success!!

Calvary Church continues to support the work of many local organizations, including the Housing Corporation of Arlington, the Somerville Homeless Coalition, Habitat for Humanity, Heifer Project, Stand for Children, the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO), local schools and Creative Start Preschool.
